Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Invoicer is for genuine business invoicing. This policy lists what you may not use it for. It applies to everyone who uses an account, including invited team members.
1. Invoices and documents
An invoice is a legal document. You must not use Invoicer to:
- create or send fraudulent or fake invoices, credit notes or agreements;
- invoice for goods or services that were not supplied;
- take part in VAT fraud of any kind, including missing trader or carousel schemes, or claim VAT you are not entitled to;
- impersonate another business or person, or issue documents in a name you are not entitled to use;
- invoice, self-bill or send agreements to someone you do not have a genuine business relationship with;
- put unlawful, defamatory or infringing content in any document.
2. Emails
Invoicer sends invoice, reminder and subscription emails on your behalf. You must not use them to send spam, marketing to people who have not agreed to it, phishing, or anything other than genuine business correspondence with your own clients and contractors.
3. The service itself
You must not:
- probe, scan or test the security of Invoicer, or try to get around any authentication, access control, rate limit or plan limit;
- overload the service, or interfere with other customers' use of it;
- scrape it, or access it by automated means other than an interface we provide for that purpose;
- copy, decompile or reverse engineer it;
- upload malicious code;
- resell, sublicense or rent out access to Invoicer;
- share logins. Each person must have their own; invite team members instead.
4. Other people's data
Respect the personal data you hold about others. Enter only what you need and have a right to hold, keep it accurate, and do not use what other Invoicer users share with you (such as their bank details or contact information) for anything other than the dealings between you.
5. What happens if this policy is broken
Breaking this policy is a breach of our Terms of Service. Depending on how serious it is, we may warn you, remove content, or suspend or close the account, without notice where the breach is serious or unlawful.
Where the law requires it, we will report suspected fraud or other offences to Revenue, An Garda Síochána or other authorities, and we will cooperate with their investigations.
6. Reporting misuse
If you have received an invoice or email through Invoicer that you believe is fraudulent or abusive, tell us at info@oxus.ie.
